9.16.08: FF 016 - Southeast Slim

It's a Tuesday! We're back for another new episode of Funkadelic Freestyles as we approach the biggest hip-hop week DC has seen in quite some time. (I'll update the full concert schedule tonight after the show) Joining us tonight live in-studio will be DC emcee/producer Southeast Slim, who is most well-known for producing Wale's first hit single, "Dig Dug." Slim is a friend of the show, so it's great to finally get him in with us.

It's been a busy few days for the hip-hop blogs, so you can bet that we'll be playing all the new joints. Just a sampling of the artists in the playlist so far: DJ Revolution, Termanology, J&J, Che Grand, B.o.B., and a brand new FF artist, R.E.U.B. We'll see what Slim brings along with him; even if its nothing, we're guaranteed a freestyle or two. Tune in from 8-10pm EST and look for the podcast tomorrow. Also, do us a favor by visiting us on Facebook...all the links are below.
